Excuse me but I've been following this list for number of years and this is FIRST time anybody is asking for anything like this - I would not call this an overwhelming demand.
Besides these kind of widgets can't ever be done to everyone's liking - they must tweaked amd changed for a specific app - if anybody wants to start working on anything like that then I would like to remind him/her of Greek legend of Sisyphus ......... just my two cents.
