I have got 2 additional questions :
What is the motivation ? Why is Dojo deprecated in favour of jQuery ?

I am not too familiar with jQuery. Does it handle events/topics 
subscriptions/notifications like Dojo to
call Struts actions ? If yes, how ? Is there an example available somewhere ?
