I'm not aware it's any different based on what action class or form style is being used. So what do you mean by "highlight"? Is there something that errorStyle and/or errorStyleClass don't do that you're looking for? See http://struts.apache.org/1.2.x/userGuide/struts-html.html#text for an example.
