Do you have a Linux machine? or is your final production environment
Linux and you are trying this out on Windows during development? I would
first suggest you try on Linux/Unix if you have access..
No, the production will be on Win 2003 server, I can try linux machine during
the weekend.
There could be quite a probability that the Windows version of JDK
1.6.0_04 has a bug in its NIO implementation that causes the above.. If
you could try JDK 1.5.0_13 instead that would be an option I would
recommend for Windows. Maybe Oleg (from the HttpComponents team) could
shed some light if this is a known or probable issue with NIO on Windows
/ JDK 1.6x
The only difference is it starts to consume cpu after a longer time (aproximatelly 2
minutes instead a 15 seconds).
