information needed on soapaction attribute of the clone mediator

hello,

could someone explain me what is the soapaction attribute of the clone 
mediator?

if i don't use it i get a soap fault "no SOAPAction header!"

i've set soapaction to "urn:test" and it works but i can't figure out why...
