All, I've upgraded Synapse to the latest version (4.0-beta3) of the HttpCore NIO library. There was one existing known issue [1] that prevented us from upgrading, and I believe this issue is now solved. All nightly builds [2] are now shipped with (and require!) httpcore 4.0-beta3. If you notice any issues related to the NIO HTTP transport with snapshot versions of Synapse, please check that you are using the right version of HttpCore and let us know if the problem persists.
