Hello,
I have just installed and tried the sample 0 application of Synapse. It seems to work somehow, but there is still an error message in the Synapse console output saying "An existing connection was closed by the remote host" (translated from german). On both sides, server and client, everything seems to be ok, it's just synapse. Here are the console outputs ____________________________________________________________________ Axis2 Server console output: Wed Dec 16 16:50:55 CET 2009 samples.services.SimpleStockQuoteService :: Generating quote for : IBM ____________________________________________________________________ Synapse console output: 2009-12-16 16:50:55,143 [192.168.2.1-Fat-Core2Duo] [HttpServerWorker-1] INFO LogMediator To: http://localhost:9000/soap/SimpleStockQuoteService, WSAction: urn: getQuote, SOAPAction: urn:getQuote, ReplyTo: http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing/anonymous, MessageID: urn:uuid:2304C5A25C1B68873B1260978654900, Direction: req uest, Envelope: <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soapenv:Header xmlns:wsa="htt p://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing"><wsa:To>http://localhost:9000/soap/SimpleStockQuoteService</wsa:To><wsa:MessageID>urn:uuid:2304C5A25C1B68873B1260978654900</w sa:MessageID><wsa:Action>urn:getQuote</wsa:Action></soapenv:Header><soapenv:Body><m0:getQuote xmlns:m0="http://services.samples/xsd"><m0:request><m0:symbol>IBM< /m0:symbol></m0:request></m0:getQuote></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope> 2009-12-16 16:50:55,159 [192.168.2.1-Fat-Core2Duo] [HttpServerWorker-1] INFO TimeoutHandler This engine will expire all callbacks after : 86400 seconds, irresp ective of the timeout action, after the specified or optional timeout 2009-12-16 16:50:55,205 [192.168.2.1-Fat-Core2Duo] [HttpClientWorker-1] INFO LogMediator To: http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing/anonymous, WSAction: , SOAPAc tion: , ReplyTo: http://www.w3.org/2005/08/addressing/anonymous, MessageID: urn:uuid:9253641FAB4022EBA1639719603782565-1091310631, Direction: response, Envelope : <?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?><soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><soapenv:Body><ns:getQuoteResponse xmlns:ns= "http://services.samples/xsd"><ns:return type="samples.services.GetQuoteResponse"><ns:change>-2.740026424743019</ns:change><ns:earnings>12.985968531667194</ns:e arnings><ns:high>-99.59315516535092</ns:high><ns:last>99.61536938248533</ns:last><ns:lastTradeTimestamp>Wed Dec 16 16:50:55 CET 2009</ns:lastTradeTimestamp><ns: low>-97.2809218305695</ns:low><ns:marketCap>5.610176071955402E7</ns:marketCap><ns:name>IBM Company</ns:name><ns:open>102.67366425811228</ns:open><ns:peRatio>23. 97205777063296</ns:peRatio><ns:percentageChange>-2.4133990851988454</ns:percentageChange><ns:prevClose>113.53391329048515</ns:prevClose><ns:symbol>IBM</ns:symbo l><ns:volume>15275</ns:volume></ns:return></ns:getQuoteResponse></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope> 2009-12-16 16:50:55,842 [192.168.2.1-Fat-Core2Duo] [I/O dispatcher 7] ERROR ServerHandler I/O error: An existing connection was closed by the remote host (translated) ______________________________________________________________ Client console output: C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\synapse-1.2\samples\axis2Client>ant stockquote -Daddurl=http://localhost:9000/soap/SimpleStockQuoteService -Dtrpurl= http://localhost:8280 -Dmode=quote -Dsymbol=IBM Buildfile: build.xml init: compile: stockquote: [java] 2009-12-16 16:50:54,805 [-] [main] INFO MailTransportSender MAILTO Sender started [java] 2009-12-16 16:50:54,824 [-] [main] INFO JMSSender JMS Sender started [java] Standard :: Stock price = $99.61536938248533 BUILD SUCCESSFUL Total time: 2 seconds ________________________________________________________________ according to the tutorial the output should be like in this link: http://synapse.apache.org/Synapse_QuickStart.html I'm running jdk 1.6 on Windows 7 with deactivated UAC, and temporaly deactivated windows firewall trying to solve this error.
