this exception is not meaningful; your problem could be
1) bad Syncope core configuration
2) bad Syncope console configuration
In order to exclude (1), put this URL in your browser and see you got an
XML document
http://localhost:8080/syncope/rest/?_wadl&_type=xml
If this fine, Syncope core is working propertly.
In case of (2) you'd need to seek for connection errors in your
console's logs.
