The Apache UIMA team is pleased to announce the release of the UIMA Java SDK version 2.8.0.
Apache UIMA is a component architecture and framework for the analysis of unstructured content like text, video and audio data. This release is a bug fix release, plus a performance enhancement for some iterator usage. The second version number was incremented because we restored some APIs that were accidentally dropped in 2.7.0.
