Michael,
The VCL determines RAM based on what is set on the image profile. The setting 
for the computer is more of a maximum value. So to fix this, go to the edit 
interface for the Windows image (Manage Images -> Edit Image Profiles -> Edit) 
and set the RAM to 2048.

The 512MB value is a minimum value that is used if an image profile has no 
value set for RAM.
