I'll add that I've used xrdp to Ubuntu 12.04 images - from both Windows 7
and Mac OSX. It works reliable and quite nicely - but doesn't have all of
the functionality that the two RDP clients do.

I miss the map the local directory function, and I don't have as good
copy/paste as I'd like.

It still is very usable and functional - esp. since Cloud storage has
become so available, as that can be used to substitute nicely for the
missing functionality.
