Hi Antonio,
Thanks for the reply. I was following the guide you mentioned and I'm stuck on
"Initial Administration Steps After Installing VCL", on step 2 where I should
create the base images.
I have done the "/usr/local/vcl/bin/vcld --setup" to capture the base image but
from there onwards it's not clear for me what I should do.

I tried following the guide regardless, but I am unable to see the base image
to create a new image from it when I log into VCL.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi Luckmore Chirongo,

My VCL installation is: 2.3.2

I used this guide: https://vcl.apache.org/docs/VCL232InstallGuide.html

Remember:

I use:
1 virtual machine for vclnode1 (this virtual machine exports to ESXi host using
NFS vcl images)
1 virtual machine for vclweb1 (the frontend)
1 virtual machine for vclgateway1 (this gives the machines internet access)
1 ESXi 5.5 host (this virtual machines resides on this host)
1 virtual network (public) - 192.168.93.X
1 virtual network (private) - 10.100.0.X

I think it is all. Can you tell what step you are stuck ?

Hi Antonio,
I have seen the setup you mentioned to be using. It is the same one I would
like to do, but I have struggled to complete the installation to a working
system.
May you please send me a step by step installation guide that you used. I have
struggled to get one - even the documentation gets unclear at the point just
after creating base images.
Thanks in advance and regards,Luckmore Chirongo
