Thanks a lot for quick response.  

I am not able to catch this exception.  It is
happening right after the server gets SOAP request. 
Its not even reaching my service code.  But if I
append '?wsdl' to url, I get complete WSDL back.  

I enabled log4j 'debug' level and I can see following

Server is immediatley returning 500 error.  I also set
breakpoints in eclipse IDE but am not having any luck
to see this exception.  All I can see is Apache Http
client is executing a post request.  Can you please
please help me how to catch this exception?

Do I need to change x-fire source to see this
exception?  Which class actually calls my service? 
Why x-fire is not able to get the root-cause of
exception?  This would have been very useful.
