Need help for creating xml without schema using xmlcursor

Hi,

I need to create diffrent xml without any schema involved.
is there any tutorial or sample code for xmlcursor to create xml without any
schema involved.

here is some sample xml i need to create..
<ITEM id="3020B>
    <NAME>Item Name</NAME>
    <DESC>Item Descriptoin</desc>
</ITEM>
