XStream is open source, uses a BSD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BSD_licenses) 
style open source license, and is free to be commercially used without paying 
anyone anything.  You do not even have to tell anyone that you're using 
XStream.  You can modify XStream for your purposes and keep that to yourselves 
if you like.  In short - don't worry!
