Hi all, just started to get my feet wet with zookeeper 3.7. After reading much documentation I'm at the point that I have a 3-node-zookeeper up and running.
On three servers I bound an extra IP address to the network interface and I declared to listen on that IP. Fine. It works. What I found out is, that when a zookeeper node connects to a partner node it takes an IP address feasible to get a connection to the IP address of the target zookeeper process. Is there a way to tell zookeeper server explicitly to use one or more IP addresses for outgoing traffic and NOT taking a meaningful default, e.g. server's main IP address? A kind of bind config for outgoing traffic. I couldn't find anything for this topic. Thank you in advance. Best regards Andreas
