I like that idea. After all these years I finally think in binary: code
something so it works or improve it in some way. It's usually either one
or the other with me. Expect another webrev later. I can probably update
the p5m file so it finds it in the proto area instead of the components
root that way too.
You probably don't need to modify p5m file as PROTO_DIR is of course
used for packaging.
Where your current p5m transformation should remain working.
