I am trying to push a change to the Userland gate. I am following the
procedure at
https://stbeehive.oracle.com/teamcollab/wiki/Userland+Gate:Working+with+Userland++19%29+Pushing+Your+Changes
Everything is working right up until the actual push:
mogo{butterba}524:; hg incoming
comparing with ssh://[email protected]//gates/gate
searching for changes
no changes found
mogo{butterba}525:; hg push
ssh://[email protected]//nevada/gates/incoming
pushing to ssh://[email protected]//nevada/gates/incoming
searching for changes
abort: push creates new remote branches: s11-sru!
(use 'hg push --new-branch' to create new remote branches)
mogo{butterba}526:; hg branches
default 970:f239fb8865f3
s11-sru 966:08a4b4ee151d
well, userland is now running 19, but I've seen two pushes since it
started so I don't see why yours would do this.
but I'm not a mercurial expert, perhaps one can chime in :)
except of course now I do - remove the 'nevada'.
