Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Zertifikatsaustausch:
SSLVerifyClient war bei uns auf require, anstelle auf optional (fuer Testzwecke)!!!

Es ist zwar ein "asbach - uraltes" Buch (1998), aber sehr gut erklaert :)

Danke für die schnelle Antwort - die apache-site kannte ich schon, die hab ich nicht ganz gecheckt. Aber ich werde mir mal die modssl vornehmen - vielleicht komme ich damit besser zurande :)
