This may be a bit late for you, but I have refactored amq.js to use an adapter class to allow other javascript frameworks to plug in. Writing an adapter for dojo is trivial. If still needed, I can add it. If you add it, please upload it to the "patch" which can be found at http://issues.apache.org/activemq/browse/AMQ-1377 Issue AMQ-1377
