Could you try updating your activemq startup script so that instead of: ACTIVEMQ_OPTS="-Xmx512M -Dorg.apache.activemq.UseDedicatedTaskRunner=true" it reads as: ACTIVEMQ_OPTS="-Xmx512M -Dorg.apache.activemq.UseDedicatedTaskRunner=false"
