Regarding https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-4118, the report says this issue is fixed in 5.8.0, but I am running 5.8.0 and still have exactly the same 3 stack traces as listed in the URL above. Moreover, I have numbered .log files (journal files) that never get cleaned up automatically. These average about every 7th file or so that does not get removed. TRACE log entries indicate that two of the topics (of 5 total topics) are the culprits, but I cannot figure out why. I have been trying to resolve this for a year now!! I've traced my code for the 3 topics that don't leave complaints vs the 2 topics that do leave complaints and I can't see any functional differences in my code.
