Hi The bug fix is in the 5.9 release which is being closed down, and to be released in not so far future. The guys is working on making sure the OSGi stuff works, and the unit tests passes and some other stuff etc. But the AMQ team would like to see 5.9 stable release out sooner than later.
For 5.8 you can patch the release yourself with the bug fix for that ticket.
