Slight correction: *All* software and docs from ASF *are* actually provided free of charge to the public in source format (and sometimes binary) under the Apache License version 2.0 [1].
Other 3rd parties including commercial organizations may provide additional derivative work, including but not necessarily limited to software and documentation. The ASF may refer to such external resources as a benefit to the community, but in no way does it endorse any such work (commercial or not). There are a few reasons for that, including the fact that the non-profit status of the ASF legally prevents it from doing so. I hope that clarifies it, Hadrian [1] http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.html On Thursday 17 April 2014 12:43:42 Claus Ibsen wrote: > On Thu, Apr 17, 2014 at 2:27 AM, xita-de <phamquan...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Dear everyone, > > > > Before I used ActiveMQ with full documentation to guide without my money? > > Whether from v 5.9, ActiveMQ require I pay money for their documentation > > or not? > > No all software and docs from ASF is free. > > Not sure what user guide you refer to - do you have a link to it? > > > -- > > View this message in context: > > http://activemq.2283324.n4.nabble.com/How-can-I-read-ActiveMQ-user-guilde > >-Now-I-must-pay-money-tp4680381.html Sent from the ActiveMQ - User mailing > > list archive at Nabble.com. >
