As luck would have it, I ran into an instance of this issue <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-5543> myself (but against 5.10.0) after we were unable to allocate a thread because we hit the OS's process (thread) limit. Several other people commented that the same thing happened to them after running into the process limit. Is there any chance that either/both of you had that happen to you before these errors started happening?
