If you're still having this problem, the behavior you're seeing sounds consistent with the behavior if you had consumers that used selectors and some of the messages didn't match any of the selectors from any of the consumers. Could that be the situation you're seeing? Another possibility is that the message-processing code is throwing an exception on some but not all of the messages.
