Hi!

Wen have a problem that we have been struggling with for a while.

Every now and then we experience total freezez of ActiveMQ. Producers can't
produce messages, consumers will not consume and we can't even browse the
queues using the web console when this occurs.

We're running ActiveMQ 5.6.0 on one machine only. Tried both KahaDB and
ActiveMQ message store. We have around 400 active concurrent connections
producer/consumer to ActiveMQ. Some of them are pooled and some of the are
created/destroyed on the fly. We have turned off flow producer control. We
have provided 2,5GB of heap and we're not even close to using all of that.
CPU usage seems fine. Large messages are rare and most of them are of kb-
size. Occasionally they can be up to tens of MB large though.

Provided is a thread dump when ActiceMQ is in a hanging state:

Thread dump is kind of similar using KahaDB. Transport threads winds up in
waiting state. Total thread dump attached.

Historically we had this once a day but at this moment it occurs several
times per day. Why that is we haven't been able to pin point but feeling is
that we have more problems after introducing some new thread pools.

Help please !

/Alex
