Hi Jan, there isn't a way to receive only the metadata of a message.
It could be an enhancement, but I can't understand the purpose. Could you share more information about your context? What interface are you using to receive the messages? Do you want skip the message body on consuming or browsing? Why do your messages have a body if you don't need it?
