By "2.240" I assume you mean ActiveMQ Artemis 2.24.0. Is that correct?

What exactly is "JMS Client 1.8.0"? I'm not familiar with that client. What
protocol is it using?

Can you elaborate any more on your use-case or provide further details
about the "Socket Write Error" you're seeing? Do you have a stack-trace or
anything like that?
