Many unexpected things occured today but I managed to perform a very quick test.
I replaced the ra.xml only since I use a remote broker. I deployed the modified
activemq-rar.rar on a Wildfly 29 without any problems. I also deployed a MDB
which was able to consume a message from a queue on the remote broker. As far
as I can tell from this limited test, everything worked as expected.
One minor detail though. When I deployed activemq-rar.rar, the following
warning was logged:
WARN [org.jboss.as.dependency.private] (MSC service thread 1-1) WFLYSRV0018:
Deployment "deployment.activemq-rar.rar" is using a private module
("org.jboss.vfs") which may be changed or removed in future versions without
notice.
Don't know if that is something to take care about anytime soon but for now
everything seems to work.
