Meanwhile I have been running integration tests with all Artemis versions between 2.31.2 and 2.35.0.
The _AMQ_LARGE_COMPRESSED header observation changes between 2.31.2 and 2.32.0. Hope the narrowing helps. Reading 2.32.0 release notes, there is no evident match. Is it an intentional change between 2.31.2 and 2.32.0, please? -- Mr. Petr Kužel, Software Engineer ________________________________ From: Petr Kuzel <petr.ku...@it.eurofinseu.com.INVALID> Sent: Tuesday, July 16, 2024 10:53 AM To: users@activemq.apache.org <users@activemq.apache.org> Subject: Observations on _AMQ_LARGE_COMPRESSED have changed between 2.31.2 and 2.35.0 Hi the Apache Artemis Community, We send a failed message to an error queue via the CORE protocol with compression. An idea is that the error queue messages should take as less resources as possible till consumed or expired. It's a dependency on Artemis CORE protocol-specific feature so we harnessed it just a little bit. Now, after speculatively upgrading Artemis dependency from 2.31.2 and 2.35.0 (with no other changes) I can observe that the _AMQ_LARGE_COMPRESSED header is not present anymore on the failed message in the error queue. We use the _AMQ_LARGE_COMPRESSED header to deduce that the failed message is compressed in the error queue. First, is it an intentional change between 2.31.2 and 2.35.0, please?
