Is the side menu an admin menu? If so, look in decorators/default.jsp - there's some logic in there to show the admin menu on the side.

So, we have a menu-config.xml that defines 2 menus - these show up correctly along the top of the web app. However, one of the menus appears along the side of some pages and I can't find how to change that. I'd like to remove the side menu while still having the menu appear along the top. If anyone knows how to do this, I will be eternally greatful.
