I'm trying to get up to speed with all the goings on in AppFuse 2.0.x. In that effort today I was going through the Struts 2 tutorial and it occurred to me that it was a bit of a pain making all these directories. With all the specific places certain files need to be created in or copied to wouldn't it be easier if there were placeholder files in those directories?
Of course the pain would be diminishing.. it's only an issue when you first create a project, and the more projects you make the more routine this would be and thus less of an issue. But maybe it would make getting started that much easier for the first timer? What do you folks think?
