AppFuse 1.x and 2.x use Velocity for e-mail templates as well as Struts Menu templates. If you'd like to use it for your view, you'd have to do some work. If you're using Spring MVC, you might look at AppFuse Light - there's a version that uses Velocity for its view.

Hi, I was wondering: I have read a couple of threads about 1.9.4 not having support for Velocity templates. I also found that Wiki-page on the AppFuse Wiki describing how to set up AppFuse to work with Velocity (manual intervention required). On the other hand I spotted a velocity-1.4.jar in the dependencies and also a couple of *.vm files already being used. Now, is Velocity supported or not? Why does AppFuse use Velocity templates when according to the Wiki, it doesn't support Velocity without further intervention? I'm confused :-) Forgive me any ignorance on these topics as all this is pretty much new technology to me.
