but why are some files not in main/resources? like errors.properties

maybe i have time on my next appfuse project.. now i have to deliver vast ;)

If you do a war:inplace, all classes and files *will* be in
WEB-INF/classes and if you do jetty:run, they'll be read from there
(and not from src/main/resources). If you do run-war or anything else,
they'll be pulled in from AppFuse's WARs, as well as
src/main/resources. As long as your concious of this - you should be
OK. Just remember that whatever goes in src/main/resources should not
go in WEB-INF/classes. If you modify the configuration settings of the
maven-war-plugin, I believe you can fix this. If you succeed, let us
know and we can add that configuration by default to AppFuse.
