It seems like it may be appropriate in both places, with the FAQ linking to the Ajax Reference Guide. As we delve more into Ajax functionality in a future release, we may have a tutorial that incorporates this stuff. As for style, I'd look at the existing tutorials - I'll also review and make any style changes necessary.
