"link" and "location" are set as attributes on the request by the FileUploadAction, e.g: getRequest().setAttribute("location", dirPath.getAbsolutePath() + Constants.FILE_SEP + fileFileName); Mike. On 8/28/07, *tibi* <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote:

    hi,

i need to safe the file information into the database.
so i extended the fileUpload action.
all works fine but i don;t understand this part:

               <a href="<c:out value="${link}"/>">
               <c:out value="${location}" escapeXml="false"/></a>

i would expect getLink() and getLocation in the fileUploadAction but
    there are none.

    how does this work??

    thanks,

    tibi
