Hi, I have created the project using command line method based on basic struts:
1. mvn archetype:create -DarchetypeGroupId=org.appfuse.archetypes -DarchetypeArtifactId=appfuse-basic-struts -DremoteRepositories=http://static.appfuse.org/releases -DarchetypeVersion=2.0 -DgroupId=com.mycompany.app -DartifactId=myproject 2.mvn jetty:run-war 3. mvn war:inplace 4. mvn jetty:run 5. delete the lib from C:\Documents and Settings\db2admin\mystruts\target\work\webapp\WEB-INF 6.http://localhost:8080/ ----> ERROR HTTP ERROR: 503 SERVICE_UNAVAILABLE RequestURI=/ Powered by jetty:// whats the problem ? what should i do ? i searched about it, inside the tutorials and other posts. thank you Abel Muiño wrote: > > Hi, > > The first problem is an issue with the Maven Plugin, but you can ignore it > by now as it is not related to building the project. > > The other two errors are shown because maven needs a JDK to run propperly. > This is true both when used from the command line or as an eclipse plugin. > > For using a JDK to run maven from eclipse, you need to start eclipse with > a JDK.
