Yes, it's probably caused by NetBeans - unless you're using a Maven
Plugin. There are two solutions:
1. Run "mvn appfuse:full-source" to import all of AppFuse's source
into your project.
2. Compile from the command line.
The good news is IDEA doesn't have this problem. ;-)
