If you do the tutorials and use the "mvn" commands - you should be
able to complete them regardless of which IDE you're using. Are you
using the latest version of Eclipse? If so, you might try removing
the war dependency and changing it to target/warpath/*.war.jar.

Hi,
Just to clarify, by going through these steps, should it be
possible to load
the project in eclipse, and run it on the tomcat server that is
present in
the servers view, with changes that you make to the source
reflecting on
your server either immediately or through a restart (i dont care
which one
at this point)
I have managed to get it loaded in eclipse, but am getting the
error in my
problems tab in eclipse:
"Illegal type of archive for required library
[...]\.m2\repository\[...]\appfuse-struts\2.01\appfuse-
struts-2.0.1.war in
project 'myproject'.
Unfortunately I have spent 2 days playing with appfuse now without
being
able to successfully make it to the tutorials where you start
coding :-(
