Hi List,
the matter of displaying locals with firefox has been discussed on this
mailinglist and is not the matter here. Every time I create a new
appfuse struts project with mvn the locale properties are messed up and
I found out that all files are retrieved ansi encoded. This is
especially problematic if you share your files with subversion. I
experienced problems for example with putting german "umlaute" in the
sample-data.xml.
Therefor I would prefer to retrieve those files as utf-8 encoded. I am
not sure if this is a matter of storage or setting up maven to retrieve
those files in utf-8, because I am not a very experienced user. I
actually would assume that the appfuse files are stored utf-8 encoded
and it is a matter of retrieving them right!?
