I originally had the default ShaPasswordEncoder in my security.xml but have since changed it to PlaintextPasswordEncoder for reasons related to the project. I would like to turn off encryption entirely. How can I do this? I tried commenting out the passwordEncoder bean in security.xml but the app barfs.
