Why would you need to get rid of the .tld file? #1. When you view source in your browser, do you still see xmlns:svg on the HTML element? #2. Are you seeing the SVG content when you view source (even if its not displaying)? #3. What browser are you trying to view the SVG in? If you're seeing the SVG content when you view source in your browser, then this is NOT an AppFuse issue. I'd suggest posting to a SVG mailing list or doing some Googling.
