Hi David,

the only way to do something similar is to use an ordinary textbox from the 
drawing tool, but then it's just a text string on the diagram with no link to 
the UML model. Another option is to add guards to the outgoing transitions, and 
add the condition to the expression field of the guards. This way, it the 
conditions apear on the diagram next to their transitions and surrounded by [ ] 
brackets.
