The stuff you need is already committed - so go for it!!!. I'm now into cleaning up the command line stuff which should be relatively independent of the things your working on (however I have a hunch its going to change slightly the format of the kernel and block configuration files - nothing dramatic so don;t get worried - more clarification and improvement so things become more explicit on the command-line and more intuitive in the configurations).

Great, must have missed the commit on the mailing list. I see it now. The subject on those are misleading, I only saw the avalon-sandbox/meta
and didn't even look to see if it included the merlin stuff. I'll be
more careful of that in the future.

Yep - did a batch update across lifecycle, meta, assembly and merlin to make it all independent of the avalon and excalibur CVS repositories. I've been getting too many people groaning about having to do a checkout and build of everything just to get Merlin up and running - so this is one step closer to making it easy for the brave!

Defiantly post what your doing - there are more than a couple of people interested in this area - plus this is something I want to get into ASAP once those other immediate items are off my agenda.

I'll see if I can get this stuff ready to go in the next couple of
days. Still got some other things that are occupying my time here in
the office, but I'll get something by the end of the weekend for sure.

Way cool - looking forward to it!

Cheers, Steve.

(p.s. according to my son I should not be saying things like "way cool" in a public forum like this so if anyone have any misapprehensions - it mean *great* - *yes* - *go-for-it*, etc.)!

SJM.
