Should I be able to upgrade my Phoenix 4.0.4 lib directory with these new releases and suffer no ill effects?
Yes. (unless you were using an old pre-release of Fortress). The changes to monitor, sourceresolve, etc. were very minor. In fact it was just adding some static text files to the JAR.
