Yes.
Basically we can easily inlude meta-data directives that select components by name. The implementation of this would apply an internal selector automatically. This is a feature that has been requested by a couple of people - all that needs to be done is some thinking about the meta-data declarations - because basically, what we would be declararing would be selection constraints.
