Dear Marco, I can relate to the situation, I have the freedom of being self-employed but I still have to balance the equation of Personal Life, Making Money and what's fun etc. I am also quite new to the project. I have been using Avalon and Merlin for some time for development projects, but not been involved in the development of Merlin itself. > It seems to me that it's already possible for Merlin services > to use other Merlin services. I understood you correctly, I was just elaborating on it. Such a solution would allow clients applications (whatever they are) as well as other _remote_ Merlin components/services to access it. SOAP would be quite easy when using the Apache Axis to implement it and would broaden the scope even more. How far have you come with the security implementation? I might be able to assist with the RMI or SOAP implementation, though right now I am not in a position to do so, but maybe February/March next year. Right now there is a number of other components and functionality (which I would be happy to submit to sandbox or the core Merlin stream when they are ready) that I need to get working for the paying projects that I am working on right now. / Nicolai --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
