With all the respect Stephen, today I deleted completely all the template
files, downloaded the latest version from CVS, ran "maven", cd impl and
"maven merlin:simulate" and I obtain the following.

Even if I am new to Merlin, from the error message it seems to me that the
execution tries to download the template-....jars from a remote repository
(ibiblio or dpml.net) rather than from my local repository. I can ensure
that the jars are under .maven/repository/template.
