Hi,

I know you guys must be working on something like this, but in my opinion unless someone plays around with the code in the CLI or the AbstractMerlinTestCase, they would not get a good feel of how things are working.

I think instructions abt creating a bootstrapper ( or whatever u name a program like CLI ) would make things much more clearer.

I was reading posts about the starting point in Merlin, abt writing a main class of their own and stuff.

And I was and am confused abt it too. I think people want to understand how they could embedd Merlin into their applications.

Queries about being able to run merlin from a main program instead of using CLI, were in my opinion infact a search for how merlin would be embedded/used in regular applications, like a main program.

So I think explanations of the steps being taken in the code of CLI (besides the handling of command line inputs) or AbstractMerlinTestCase to start up the whole Merlin thing, would be of great help to beginners.

That gives a real hands on feel of the stuff and people would be able to write code to embedd/startup merlin from their own applications. That's what would make it real popular I think.

What do u say ? And please point me to such instruction if they already exist somewhere.

And thanks a lot guys, you are doing a great job.

Mathews
